The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali date back 5,000 years and define Yoga as “the stilling of the changing states of the mind”. The ultimate goal of Yoga is Moksha (liberation). Yoga practice gives us physical and mental freedom, self realisation and helps us to experience true reality. I teach Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga. The classes are designed to build heat in the body, detoxify the blood, increase strength, core strength, flexibility, fitness, clear and calm the mind and re-energise. My Hatha Yoga teaching style is dynamic but suitable for both beginners and experienced as individuals are encouraged to take rest when needed and alternative postures are given.
